    Venting!

I agree, for some reason people make some of the rudest comments to pregnant women! Please don't waste any time feeling bad about this! You are doing a great job with your workouts and I am sure you look great. I've spent most of this pregnancy trying to ignore all the comments from...

    postpartum rotation

Do you have the Bodyblast Timesaver DVD? I used this one all the time after I had my son a few years ago. It is great because the workouts are shorter, but really effective. It really helped get me back in shape. I think most of the workouts are around 35-45 minutes.

    Who has been induced?

Hi I guess you could say I was sort of induced. I was getting close to 2 weeks overdue, so the scheduled me to come in for Pitocin. The night before they had me come in for a cervical ripening gel. I went back home and never even made it to the next morning before I had to turn around and go...

    Anyone had vertigo?

Hi Nancy, I just took my husband to the doctor for this about two weeks ago. He gave him a prescription for Meclizine (25 MG tablets) to help with the symptoms, but told him that it was viral and would go away on its own. Someone else in my husband's office has it too and his was so bad he...

    Breastfeeding and weight retention

For me the last 10 pounds hung on for dear life until I stopped nursing. Once I stopped it seemed to me like it came off pretty easily. I just figured that maybe my body wanted to hang on to a little extra fat during that time.

    Experienced moms--does it get easier?

Yes! It gets much easier. My son (now 3) was a very intense, fussy baby and he turned into a very happy and fun baby once he started crawling. I've never heard anything about swaddling causing hip development problems, but if makes you feel any better I swaddled my son every time he slept...

I'm 34 weeks now, how far along is everyone else?

I don't post very much on here, but I just wanted to say hi and good luck to everyone. I will be 30 weeks tomorrow and while it is going by very fast (and I keep thinking of all the things I want to do before the baby comes) I will definitely not be sad about not being pregnant anymore. I...

A ques for experienced clean eaters....

My suggestion would be to figure out the calories. I know it kind of seems like a pain, but that is the best way to figure it out. I used the "Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle" book to figure out what my calories should be. I really liked that book for nutritional information. Maybe you are...

    Happiest Baby on the Block

I read the book 3 years ago, loved it and got great results with my son. I ended up buying a "swaddle blanket" since I could never seem to get my blanket wrapped correctly. I loved that blanket! I am planning on packing it in my hospital bag for my next child.

Question about DVDs with the high step

High Step Training Advanced (HSTA) Muscle Endurance Legs & Glutes all have leg presses in them too. All three are really great & tough workouts. My most used out of the three is probably Legs & Glutes. I just love this one (and I normally hate to work legs)

    HOW DO I DO THIS???

Just wanted to say... Hang in there! I know the past 8 weeks probably seems like it has been a long time to you right now, but you are going to have plenty of easier times where you will be feeling much better. Easier times are coming soon! For me personally it took 3 months after my...

    ovulation calculator

I would suggest the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility" It has so much great information on charting your cycle and figuring out what the best days to try are. I've gotten pregnant twice using the suggestions in this book.

    Lets talk sport bras

Champion is my absolute favorite too. The one I like the best is the 3-Reasons Support Bra (this is the name that is has on titlenine.com) It has a wicking material and has adjustable shoulder straps which are a must for me. Even though it isn't an underwire it is very supportive!

    Larabars

My Costco has the Larabars for less than a dollar each (of course you have to buy the big box of them!) There are 6 Cherry, 6 Apple, and 6 Lemon in the box and they are $17.60 I don't mind buying them in bulk because I love them a little too much.

Cathe are there any Healthier type bars considered clean?

Here is the ingredient list from a Lara Bar (cherry pie flavor): Dates, almonds, unsweetened cherries I don't have the energy to type the ingredient list from a Zone bar, but let's just say there is a long list and High Fructose Corn Syrup is in there.

cathe-ite intense exerciser...newly pregnant need advise!!!

RE: cathe-ite intense exerciser...newly pregnant need a... Congratulations! I guess the best advice is probably just to listen to your body (other than talking to your doctor). I tend to be an overly cautious type so I like to wear a heart rate monitor just as a check to make sure I am not...

Test says I am ... but I'M NOT!

Maybe your last period wasn't really a period. Maybe it was spotting and you are further along than you think. A good friend of mine had spotting during her pregnancy.

Do I need to lose weight before TTC?

Just wanted to come back and say that I eat every 3 hours and it has actually done wonders for me. When I first switched from 3 meals a day to 5 or 6 I lost quite a bit of weight. Now that I am pregnant eating every 3 hours keeps me from feeling so sick to my stomach. Before I was pregnant...

Do I need to lose weight before TTC?

I wouldn't worry about dieting, just try to eat clean and exercise so that you are in good health. A very similar thing happened to me. I had a miscarriage back in February and managed to gain 10 pounds during the 10 weeks of pregnancy. I was not having luck getting it all off (I did...
