    a good kickboxing workout

I can't comment on Kick Max or Kick, Punch & Crunch (although I'm dying to get that one!!). However, I recently purchased Powerstrike Millenium 3 and I LOVE it!!! I have heard that Powerstrike Millenium 1 & 2 are more intense (I've only been exercising for 3 weeks after being off for 6-7...

Can you design a video for people with limited space

I don't have the room to do the double grapevines and such. I was wondering if you could come up with a tape that would pretty much stick to a limited area. I'm space challenged!! Mary:-) :-) :-)

How do you all manage to stick with it?

Thank you all! I knew I could count on this group for motivation!!! I appreciate hearing from all of you. I will try to start a rotation and check in with the folks on this board often. In addition to the 2 year old, I have a 20 year old, 19 year old, and 16 year old, so I am always...

How do you all manage to stick with it?

I am, unfortunately, an on again/off again exerciser. I exercised from April through October last year steadily (5-6 times per week), doing mostly Cathe workouts (I actually started with Taebo and Kathy Smith and moved into Cathe). I loved it, but a friend and I went to a spa to celebrate 6...

    Pure Strength

Push Ups I hear ya on the push ups!! I didn't think I'd ever be able to do a full push up! I had a bad back for years, but I found that all the ab exercises I had been doing was helping to strengthen my back. Anyway, one day instead of getting down on my knees doing Power Hour push ups, I...

    Love Cardio Kicks!!

I loved it too!! Did it for the first time last week and all I could say at the end was WOW!!!! I found it incredibly intense. I'm use to doing the Advanced Live Taebo series, but this was, in my opinion, more intense!! Left me a drenched from head to toe!! I love that!!! Mary

That is what I had thought and I've been anxiously awaiting the new DVD! (or should I say, impatiently waiting--I can't wait to have this DVD). I've since also ordered the CTX series on DVD (ordered with the Cardio Kicks dvd), can't wait to get that one either, but that should be here sometime...

    Thanks!! LOVING Cathe's tapes!!

Stacy: I did Powerhour for the first time today and I loved it. I couldn't believe how trembly I got!!! Really worked my arms. It was a shock for my body, I'm sure, but a much needed shock. FIRM tapes seem easy after doing Powerhour and MIS!! I'm going to start a rotation that I saw in...

    Thanks!! LOVING Cathe's tapes!!

I started with the Rhythmic Step DVD and the Power Hour DVD. So far, I've done MIC: the hi/low portion only (UGH!! almost killed me!! : ) I've done MIS, but so far I've left off the leg/butt portion, so I only have worked the upper body. I've done that one twice and I LOVE IT!! I did...

MIS--Do any of you do this with just dumbells?

Thanks!! Your comments are much appreciated!! I will plan to at least buy another 15 lb weight and a set of 12 lb weights for now. Then, as soon as I can save up enough, I'll buy the 20lb set. After that it is the barbell!! You are all wonderful! Mary

MIS--Do any of you do this with just dumbells?

Great! I'll make it a point to go out and buy two 12 lb and one 15 pound weights this weekend. I really want that barbell too!! UGH!! Too many wants and not enough cash!! For tomorrow I'll test out the tape with my ligher dumbells. Probably a smarter thing for me to do anyway since I've...

Abs: how often do you work your abs?

Ah yes, the dreaded planks!! I have been using the FIRM 5 day abs which I like, I just really wanted to know if it was okay to work my abs each day or if most people rested the abs on alternate days. Now you have me considering Cathe's upcoming Ab DVD!! And, you have me thinking of finally...

MIS--Do any of you do this with just dumbells?

If yes, can you give me an idea of the range of weights you use (I know that everyone is different). I currently only own 5lb, 8 lb, 10 lb (pairs) and then one single 15 lb weight. A barbell is on my list of wants, but as I exercise in the tv room and store everything there, my husband doesn't...
