    Hitting a brick wall!!!

Ok, I'm already in a better mood! No, I didn't go out and get a morning lipo procedure....but said a good prayer, calmed down and then took in all this good stuff, and then decided, maybe today I'll go do a LIGHT workout. Well it just so happens that that light workout was a new Kathy Smith...

    Hitting a brick wall!!!

I'm pretty much eating about 1500 calories. In the morning when I get up I have a cup of coffee with splenda and coffeemate creamer (again the main 'fake food' I still have). Lately I've been having a banana with about 1TB natural pb on it. I have 1 more cup of Joe prior to workout. After...

:o Has anyone else hit a plateau in weight loss that feels like a BRICK WALL that you cannot get over? AUGH!!! I truly, truly do not know what to do. I have gotten down to my leanest in years, am currently a size small top and size 8 pants and for my weight (now mind you I have refused...

What kinds of protein bars to you all like?

Detour Bars are QUITE tasty. I don't consume protein bars myself anymore (generally I avoid things in wrappers if possible, the whole 'fake food' thing) but I get those for my hubby who is used to having Granola Bars in his lunch. This way he's getting some protein at least with his sugar...

What are your favorite spice mixes?

I love anything Emeril too. I also just discovered Watkins spices and flavorings through a close friend. I had never heard of them but apparently everyone has, they've been around since like just after the Civil War. My friend's website is www.watkinsonline.com/cheryl.ehlert I heard a...

feel a major binge coming on...

RE: Listen to Your Body I will 'second' what Heather said, especially because that is the mentality I have been dealing with myself. I mean after reading this book, I told my DH - I truly TRULY do not remember the last time I went to a restaurant and just ordered what I wanted without...

I will NEVER EVER wear leggings again!

When I was in college, the thing was to wear big sweatshirts - INSIDE OUT. My mom would flip out that I went to school in what she thought were pajamas. Of course back then I was in denial but clearly I was totally in to wearing big sweatshirts to cover up my expanding Freshman 25!!!! LOL...

    clean eating

I'm currently reading a great book called Ultra Metabolism by Mark Hyman and he says to eat 'anything without a label on it" - I love that. Great book by the way, I started reading it after finishing "Intuitive Eating" which was FANTASTIC. Kelly

I will NEVER EVER wear leggings again!

Leggings are truly the devil's revenge. I remember wearing a WHITE pair in my senior pictures with those oversize sweaters from Limited Express...remember those?? And how the BIG oversize Express tops you wore untucked under Forenza sweaters with a belt?? Egads and COLORED EARRINGS SHAPED LIKE...

Can Cathe make us these "Tools"?? ;-)

:7 Ok we've all got mind tricks we use to keep us on track; dedicated to working out and eating right, correct? I won't bore you with my dorky mind games but I thought as I looked around my house, here are some ideas that the Cathe team (tongue in cheek here) could make for us addicts -...

    Lactose Intolerance

Were you diagnosed by a doctor? I have not been diagnosed but by deduction I realized that much of dairy REALLY upsets my stomach big time. Milk, and especially any soft serve dairy leaves me doubled over in pain, yet I can tolerate yogurt/cottage cheese just fine. Not sure how that figures out...
