Kathryn, where did you get your chickpeas?

I noticed your 'lunchtime' post on the the Ask Cathe Forum. Cardamon spiced chickpeas sound wonderful! I'd love to try them. Would I need to go to a health food store to buy them? I'm always looking to perk up my salads. Can you suggest any other healthy and interesting salad items? Thanks!

    Lost Fans (spoiler)

    >Aaron is now with Kate do you think Claire stays or does she >die and asks Kate to take him. Why should that upset Jack? >It was good episode. I think that Jack's avoidance of the baby would indicate that Claire died. Everyone on the Island seemed to have some sort of unresolved...

Barbell Newbie - why does it hurt?

<<I steady the barbell on my shoulder with one arm and shake out the other and switch.>> Ah, good tip, I'll try that! Glad to know that I'm not alone in the elbow discomfort!

how do u curb evening sweet tooth?

Oh, I can sympathize with this! I also use the No Sugar Hot Cocoa (Swiss Miss) and I love Kozy Shack 100 calorie chocolate pudding snacks. Neither of these options are 'clean' but they do the trick for me. I also buy a bag of dark chocolate squares (I like Hershey's 60% dark chocolate) and I...

Barbell Newbie - why does it hurt?

Thanks Allison, I did remember to account for the 10 lb. bar so I truly was only lifting 40 lbs. What a wimp! I'm going to have to play around with lighter weights until I can get a true feel for the barbell and the proper postition on my back.

Barbell Newbie - why does it hurt?

Thanks Gayle, I am very tight in my shoulders and have extremely poor range of motion in them. I fear that this may inhibit my ability to use the barbell effectively in certain positions. I'm astounded by how flexible the woman is in the youtube video! That's a simple flexibility exercise...

Barbell Newbie - why does it hurt?

After a year of working out with Cathe using only dumbells, and in an attempt to get more serious about weight lifting, I finally broke down and bought my first barbell set...100 lbs with a 10 lb. bar. I also bought a bar pad and some cute, little weight gloves. I used my new barbell for...

    Lost - 02/14/08 (spoilers!)

Oh, I love this...you all have some great thoughts about what's going on! My husband and I have always noticed that there's a funky time thing going on with the Island...It would be night in one place, day in another...at first we thought it was just the way they were presenting the...

Seeking advice from the weight lifters

Thank you Goldenrun and Maddiesmum for your responses. Maddiesmum: I don't own 4D's. I've read some negative reviews about the cardio being too short and/or step routines being very difficult so I've refrained from buying it (otherwise, this would seem to be the type of program I'm looking...
