Another question for the runners.....running MOJO.

Hey Gail, This happened to me too when I trained for and ran the Queeche Vermont 1/2 marathon...think hillsx( It abslolutely turned me off of running for a while. The long training sessions did me in. Like you, I want to run when I want to run. Now I just run to free my mind and tone my...

    Typing vs. writing

Kathryn, You've put into words something that I've only been semi-aware of for the past couple of years. My printing (I never got the hang of cursive despite much practice) has really deteriorated over the past several years. I find that I limit my writing as much as possible and type...

    Vacation recommendations please

Nancy, A warm destination in May is a great way to get a jump start on summer! What about a cruise to Bermuda? We have cruises straight out of Boston to Bermuda so I would imagine that NY would have something similar. I've never been on one of these myself but I know many people to do this...

    Holy moly--Body Max 2!!

I love this workout!!! I usually do the workout, as recorded, but stop when I get to the upper body section, which I save for the next day (usually opting for the double upper body premix). BM2 is definitely one of my favorite workouts!

    Lo Max...oh my goodness!

Amelia, I felt the same way about missing something on the FitTv version. I would also get really annoyed when the commercial breaks would be in the middle of a step routine or a blast (this was really a problem on FitTv Step Blast). I've finally replaced all of the FitTv Cardio Workouts with...

    Lo Max...oh my goodness!

Yes, Jennifer, I own all of those workout dvds (and then some!). I was just surprised by how much I had been missing on FitTv even though it is the same workout (it was just a small piece of the real thing). I'll probably stick with my FitTv version of Core Max since I don't use them that...

    Lo Max...oh my goodness!

    Lo Max...oh my goodness!

I just did the entire version of Lo Max today and, oh my gosh, what a workout! I had previously only done the FitTv version but the full workout is soooo much longer and more intense! I will qualify this by saying that I've been recovering from the flu (2 weeks!) and I still don't have my...

    Last lecture

My DH was standing nearby when I opened your post. He had heard about this as well and watched the video with me. We were both moved by Randy Pausch's words. He certainly has me thinking about the things I am doing well (and not so well) in my own life. Thanks for posting this.

    Favorite Premixes

I'm just getting back into the swing of things after being sick for the past 2 weeks. I definitely feel ready to start exercising again, but I still don't have enough oomph to do an entire Cathe workout. I'm looking for some shorter, fun premixes to get my body going again. I'd love to get...

    Fage ideas?

Hi Doreen, I don't like plain Fage either. Trader Joe's sells a low-fat, flavored greek-style yogurt (their own brand). I like the blueberry but they also have pomegrante and -I think- plain w/ honey. You might want to try it if you have a TJ's in your area.

    Need some Flu recovery advice

Thanks everyone, I'm taking your advice. I still don't feel anywhere near 'normal' and I truly don't want to end up in bed again. A few more days of rest will (hopefully) do the trick!
