Which Cathe workouts for the rebounder?

I know a lot of people adapt Cathe's workouts to the rebounder, and I've started doing that as well due to some ankle problems. Which ones are most easily adapted? I've done Maximum Intensity Cardio and Cardio Kicks but found Cardio Kicks was hard to adapt because a lot of the movements were...

Cathe, My oldest son said you look like....

I agree - a young Susan Lucci with a much better figure. Susan Lucci is pretty but skinny compared to Cathe - Cathe is much healthier looking IMO:-)

    Weight lifting questions

I have heard that soreness doesn't necessarily mean muscle building. Everyone is different, but I can't imagine lifting to failure and not breaking a sweat and/or being sore. I think if you're giving it your all then you're not wasting your time. HTH, Julia

    Next series

I posted this on the "Suggestions for Cathe's next videos" board, but I would love to see Cathe do a workout for the rebounder. A lot of us adapt her higher impact workouts to the rebounder, so I'm sure it would be very popular.

    Bosu or rebounder-Please

I would also like to throw in a vote for a rebounder workout. I just got my rebounder and the first thing I did was put in MIC and do the first segment of the workout on the rebounder. It worked so well I thought it would be great if Cathe made a video just for the rebounder! I have...

    Proper diet

Hi Pam - I'm not Cathe, but I recently lost 50 lbs. and have kept it off for the last year. I've also been trying to lose more body fat and have been getting some advice from trainers and fitness competitors. Everyone seems to agree the best way to reduce body fat is to focus on lean protein...

    Core Max Levitation Moves

I tried it last night for the first time, and all I can say is Cathe you verbalized exactly what I was thinking "how is that happening?!?":o I was glad to hear you say that even attempting it was working the core because that's all I was doing - attempting it. I did feel it in my abs. Julia

Cathe - an observation for Cedie

I was looking at her last night while doing Gym Style Back, Shoulders and Biceps and was really struck by how different she looks now than she did in some of the older videos. I'm thinking specifically of Maximum Intensity Strength - since I just did that one Saturday its fresh in my mind...

    Gym Style BSB

Just wanted to pop back in to say I did this one last night and my biceps are still burnin! It was great. I wasn't able to use the exercise bands I bought at WalMart - too short, darn it!x( so I substituted light dumbells. I'm glad I only picked up 10 pounders for the concentration curls -...

    Gym Style BSB

    static lunge problems

Bumping - me too! I feel the burn much more in my back leg. I also have a problem keeping the 90 degree angle in the back. Am I stepping back too far? It feels like if I don't step back that far then my knee will go over my toe in the front.

    Should I work sore muscles?

Cathe - I've seen differing opinions on this. I read in a book about weight lifting (Joyce Vedral) that working sore muscles is o.k. because it actually stimulates blood flow to the area and helps the muscles to rebuild. From another source (a women's bodybuilding website) I read that you...

Heavy weight training in a fat loss rotation?

I would love to hear Cathe's input too. I sure hope it doesn't take an hour and a half of cardio per day for me to lose some body fat. I'm trying to increase my cardio, but 45 mins. to an hour 3 times per week is about all I can manage! I lift on the other 3 days. I also love S&H but I...

    Hi

"I don't want to be her-- but I am inspired by her." Well I DO want to be her, lol! Welcome Kath. Like you, I had my kids fast and young. I'm 44 and I have 3 boys, 27, 24 and 16. I don't know if I'll ever be able to have abs like Cathe's, but I'm sure going to try. I also ordered...

    new to cathe

Hi Sue - Do you already have any Cathe workouts? If you haven't been working out at all recently or if you've never done step aerobics I would suggest you start with Basic Step & Body Fusion. I'm 44 and have lost over 50 pounds in the last two years. I started my exercise program just...

Thanks Rhonda, I did read it but was hoping to get a response from Cathe. Julia

Cathe - how can I get my waist smaller?

Cathe - I posted this question earlier in the week but would really like to get your opinion. I have a large waist in proportion to my hips and have a problem finding pants that fit. I have small (size 4) hips, but even some size 6's are too tight for me in the waist. I've had three kids, but...

    Hi Cathe! "Mini-meals" question

RE: Hi Cathe! I am so not Cathe:-) but I've been doing some research on the same subject. I need to lower my BF% and have been reading up on how I should be eating. Here's what I'm doing and it seems to be working for me: Meal 1 6:00 a.m. at home - 1/4 cup oatmeal (measured dry) and 1/2...
