Functional Lower Body with the bonus workout

Did this for the second time, including the balance discs again as it came up in my rotation. Just wow - I suspect that my only having a barbell bar to use as my balancing point (instead of the bar) makes some of these moves really tough. I'd be curious to see if anyone else tries it what your...

LMR Functional Yoga + Bonus Restorative Yoga

Okay, I think this is officially my favorite Cathe Yoga workout now. I've never been really keen on most of her yoga DVDs - I tend to gravitate towards the Namaste Yoga series when I want to do yoga. I really appreciated her pacing and queueing in this series, which I've always felt was "off"...

LMR Functional Upper Body + Bonus

Coming back the day after - got some fun soreness in my shoulders, triceps, and lats. I suspect most of it is from the bonus balance disc segment.

LMR Functional Upper Body + Bonus

I'm officially starting the 8-week LMR rotation today, and today was Functional Upper Body. I added the bonus balance disc segment, too, since I wanted to check that out, as well. Weight selections are pretty light with this, which I'm good with given I'm still healing from tennis elbow. I...

    January 2025 Jumpstart Rotation

Thank you - I've already set myself up to do the 8 week rotation from the LMR user's guide, but when I'm done with that, I may give this a whirl!

Functional Pilates w/Lower Foam Rolling & Core

I did this workout on Thursday in place of my STS 2 foam rolling lower body workout. I got really confused with the premix titles as they said stuff like "Foam roller and ball only". I mistook "Foam roller" to be the BONUS foam roller workout, so it took me through the pilates workout exercises...

Functional Lower Body with the bonus workout

I did this workout Friday in place of my originally planned STS 2.0 Body Parts Legs workout. My knee was being a bit fidgety back on Wednesday so I decided subbing in Functional Lower Body would be a good idea instead of insisting on heavy weights. Really enjoyed the workout. Did this with the...

Lift, Move & Restore User's Guide

Actually after reviewing all the clips again I'm really looking forward to a full-on focus with this set. I've been recovering from tennis elbow since I want to say last spring. Because of that injury, I've not been able to lift very heavy for quite some time - and that includes just gripping...

Lift, Move & Restore User's Guide

Woohoo - a generous family member gifted me the set! Definitely looking forward to trying it out. Now I need to get my rotation into my calendar.

Lift, Move & Restore User's Guide

I'm either getting the set as a Christmas gift, or, if not, then I'll be purchasing it myself and will likely start it in January. Sorry, I thought the beginner rotation was 10 weeks. I meant the 8 week rotation. I'll do that then see how creative i can get with these mixing them in with other...

Lift, Move & Restore User's Guide

Thank you for pointing out the "Beginner" description for the rotation being a bit off-putting or perhaps misleading. I saw that description and thought the workouts will all be "easy". I've not done any of them yet as I don't have the series in my hands (yet), and it sounds like "easy" is not...

    STS2 & LM&R Rotation

Love it - I was kind of bummed to not see a suggested rotation in the user guide that combined either LMR with STS 2 or XTrain. They all seem geared more towards either beginner exercisers, or folks who just don't want to/can't do more intense workouts. I was also pondering how I could do a...

    Cathe's Knee Replacement

    Post your LMR reviews :D

Looking forward to seeing people's reviews of the workouts. Turns out I allowed my OnDemand subscription to lapse, so now I'm on the fence as to whether I want to re-sub or just go back to purchasing DVDs again. I've got LMR on my holiday wish list, so fingers crossed someone in my family...

    Lift, Move & Restore Update…10/28/24

The point about digital streaming subscriptions being pretty sketchy is what makes me think at times about buying the DVDs although I have streaming. I've only been using streaming for about a year now - I do like that it's introduced me to a lot of workouts of hers that I never purchased as...

    Lift, Move & Restore Update…10/28/24

I don't know - I've been in positions at my work where we've been trying to get by on outdated software (edit: outdated software and/or hardware) and eventually, you find you're just SOL and have to make massive, expensive, unpleasant changes in order to keep doing what you want to be doing. I...

Please!! SNM...some sort of update on LM&R

This is unfortunately seeming to be par for the course anymore with their releases. Their lack of communication is confusing. I know they're capable of it. They come on here to advertise sales all the time, after all, and send out sales newsletters every week. Where this forum is concerned...

Cathe's Lift, Move & Restore Restorative Yoga Bonus Workout

Looking forward to giving this a try. I can typically do the majority of those poses without the use of blocks, but maybe these will allow me to relax into the poses better.

Lift, Move & Restore Upper Body Balance Workout

No, I've not used them much. Been waiting for the workouts to come out and at that time, I'll decide whether or not I feel like I need to adjust the air. They're definitely challenging, however, as they're currently filled. They feel a bit deceptively squishy, but I think they need to be that...

Lift, Move & Restore Upper Body Balance Workout

I love seeing that this is sooooo challenging that no one can stay perfectly in sync with the rest of the crew. @Debinmi my discs came pre-inflated. The packaging says "anti-burst up to 600 pounds" though I'm not sure that translates accurately to a PSI measurement for inflating.
