    News Flash

Those of us who are athletes (or should I say Cathletes) know that life happens and sometimes that includes injuries. But I like to say we are better equipped to handle it even if we'd rather not. Over the years I've had people admonish me for my activities: "it's dangerous" "you could get...

    High Reps

I've done the High Reps workout enough to know you definitely want go light. I believe she mentions what she is using. I have my weights written down and recall anytime I think the weight is too light, it isn't!

    This is a great one

I love doing older workouts too. Reading through all your comments gave me an idea for Catherine besides a throwback rotation which of course sounds like a lot of fun. I was thinking Catherine and some of her live workout partners could dress like they do in some of the older videos. Maybe for...

    Equip. info/demos on Facebook page

Thank you very much for this. I've never touched Facebook and never will. Now I might consider buying these. What I really want is Jenn's sweatshirt and Cathe's t-shirt! I wish they were available on their website.

The 2023 Cathe Calendars Are Here!

Here's a funny thought: if someone asked me what I'd like for Xmas I would say a new series from Cathe and the calendar to go with it. No one knows me well enough to know this but Cathe somehow knew!

    Ordered!

I will be ordering--have to purchase heating fuel right now so it'll be a second. At least I know I have some time before they close on the preorder phase. I'll be working my butt off on 3rd shift to pay for this and the heating fuel. Well, not really, I don't think my butt is going away...

Cathe's STS Muscle & Recovery Is All About Heavy Weights

Not being a wordsmith, I can't really express my excitement and gratitude the way I would like to. Maybe it is almost how I used to be the night before Christmas when I was a little kid and, you know, at that age, it was a really, really big deal in my life!

Anyone else envious of Cathe's workout wear collection LOL

Hmmm, I've never cared about "cute" or too much to chose from when it comes to clothing of any kind. I just want stuff that fits and works for what I do and that I can afford.

    Commercial Postings

It is really sad that people always try to take advantage of others, are underhanded, or are just generally horrible. I'm glad they posted this but also must say to any 'user' who is trying to promote their products: you are barking up the wrong tree with me--I'm a hardcore Cathlete and find...

    STS 2.0 Update

I'm excited like everyone and very appreciative of all the hard work that goes into a new series. In this day and age where people easily record and upload anything they want with a phone, I think some may lose sight of the work involved in a full production. And I do not doubt Cathe and her...

Cathe ... time for an update please!?

I figured I wasn't the only one eagerly awaiting news on the new series. I can't imagine they wouldn't do dvds--they'd upset a lot of us I'm sure. Not everyone has the ability to stream--I know I don't!.

    Men working out with Cathe

Braille, I just read your "recent" post (sorry I can be quite slow because of lack of regular internet access). I'm glad you shared what I wrote and he's putting some of my ideas to good use, trying and adjusting to what is most effective for him. I really like how he said "it was a lot harder...

    Men working out with Cathe

Braille, I first have to admit that I have absolutely no clue about men working out since I've always worked out alone and am single. However I can relate to wearing (or in my case carrying) a lot of weight but knowing that agility with that is difficult. I have an idea for him based on some...

    Windmills for core modification

I don't know if this will help but I kind liken the move to triangle pose in yoga. I think if you are comfortable doing that, the windmill may come naturally. Maybe try the yoga pose and then windmill with weights will make sense.

    STS: 2.0 update

Just some thoughts about the comments of "puke in a bucket" workouts. If anyone is finding any workout of any kind (not just from Cathe) makes them throw up, isn't that a sign of overtraining and overexertion and perhaps there is something wrong? I believe in a good hard workout but I wouldn't...

    Poll: Tracking/recording your workouts/rotations ?

Paper and pencil are the best. I have a small notebook where I write down what I do daily for a workout. Also, I have 3 full sized notebooks where I keep track of what weights I use. What is really fun to do is to see where I started in a weightlifting routine years ago and what I can do now...
