    Hi, I had the surgery in Sept and Dec of last year. Being put under didn't bother me in the least. In fact, I wouldn't have it any other way. You wake up and it's done! Now the recovery, that's something else... but I'm very glad I had it done. No more pain. It took me a good ten weeks...
