Cathe, can there be TOO MUCH VARIETY????

I have exercise ADD as I get older, and am doing p90x+ and plan to incorporate the 4D soon as it arrives....tough workouts...makes for lots of combo's and variety - BUT think of it, we only have 1 body with the same old muscles...so if you're still working real hard, working the same muscles and...

    MIDDLE AGE MIDSECTION

Well you're absolutely right about scrupulous clean eating, minimal portios, and intense exercise about fighting middle age body changes - I've been a fitness buff for 30 years, since I was 14 ....BUT at 46, even with HIIT, hard core intervals, p90x+ et all, and I do them religiously, I am JUST...

    Embarrassing - Crying in frustration!

Aw honey, you are very demanding of yourself! Cathe does this for a living, has done it for well over 20 years, has the camera cut off during takes so she and the gang can recoup, do retakes...and even SHE gets out of breath...somewhere in your nogging, you are feeling like you are a failure if...

Home based jobs with some or no travel

Medical transcription.....go to mtjobs.com - you can write off even your ink and light bulbs from this kind of work, and portions of your high speed connection (Clinton signed that work at home legislation - see, he was in a good mood...)....but that's an excellent thing to do at home.

    Eating late at night?

Alot of the major trainers (from Jillian to Cosgrove to Bernardi) insist there is NO problem with eating at bedtime..its net calories in net calories out...BUT that doesn't mean a dozen oreos (that crushed me)....but kashi cereal with a banana, some cottage cheese with a couple walnuts and...

Workout first thing in the morning.... what about breakfast????

In my professional mags (I'm a nurse and have my cpt), a ten year study proves that working out on an empty stomach does NOT increase fat loss, so why not squelch your hunger with a bite or two of fruit, and bring along your breakfast - some cottage cheese and apple or something?

Looking for a prayer for Inner Peace

"Slow me down, LORD Ease the pounding of my heart by the quieting of my mind. Steady my hurried pace with a vision of the eternal reach of time. Sweeney Todd...

I saw it on Broadway a long time ago - its very....twisted and dark....and keeps you rivited...I thought THEN that it would be a great movie if done right....and it is PERFECT with Tim Burton,Johnny and Helena doing it - but they could make the reading of a phonebook into something sick, fun...

    Pull Ups

Some of the gals at videofitness clued me in on the Flowbar (flowbar.net) for doing the new p90x+ that's coming out - actually I've already ordered it...it is nifty, slides over your door and since, most of us will never do a real pullup (and who wants to anyway) - its a great and affordable gadget.
