Will there be WO Blenders in the new workouts?

Thanks for asking Cathe. I love the premixes and use them all the time. The w/o blender is limiting so I use it rarely. However, giving us the chapter points on all the workouts is very valuable to me as I make up my own "blender" type work outs a lot. So.... Premixes - please keep them...

    Calf Muscle - cramp

Hey all A couple of weeks ago I woke up in the night with a charlie horse. I have not had one of them since I was pregnant. Man, I forgot how much I hate them! My hubby massaged it out and it was gone pretty quick. The next day my leg was a little sore but nothing major. Anyway, since...

    Winsor Pilates Sculpting Circle

Hi Well I know nothing about the Windsor videos and circle, but I can say I received a Giami circle for Christmas last year and use it with my KV pilates ring work out and think it is a great resistance tool. Matter of fact, I did that work out Tuesday and can still feel the work today...

    GS Legs

Never tried that... but the other day I did do the standing portion of GS Legs, then 30 minutes on the treadmill, and then the floor portion. That actually worked great because my legs were able to thaw a little and give more to the floor work. Just a thought. Nancy

    Resistance Bands

Hey ladies I was a little bummed when I went to check out the Pilates Band Workout and found it was a CD not a DVD. It was OK.... but not what I was expecting. Was yours a CD or DVD? Thanks, Nancy

    Resistance Bands

Yesterday at our Target (in Minnesota) they had the Pilates Band Workout with a 6 foot band in 3 levels of resistance with the DVD on clearance for $9.08. I thought that was a major score as it is really hard to find the bands in 6 foot lengths. Have not tried the dvd yet. FYI... Nancy

    Sequential kicks in Cardio Kicks

Good Idea on the knee kicks. I too have recently had some knee issues so have been low impacting this move and just doing alternating kick through the whole section or smaller jumps and kicks but find it doesn;t get my HR as high as I would like. The knee kicks may just be my ticket! Thanks...

Cathe and others -- perimenopause and injuries

I definitely agree with this. Shortly after turning 40 I have noticed much more strain in my knees and my big toe became arthritic one day and it never went away. A friend I play tennis with recently tore her ACL (she is also in her early 40's) and the Dr. said women are much more susceptible...

    Heartbeat of an athlete!

Hey all Yesterday I went in for my yearly appt and I had to see a new doctor as my usual one moved on. Anyway, as she was listening to my heart she says, you have the heartbeat of an athlete. Made my day! :P Just thought I would share. A little bright spot in that appt we all dread...
