Does anyone know what weight Cathe uses on the barbell sections of chest and shoulders in Power Hour? She says what she is using in the other sections, but either she doesn't say or I missed it in the chest and shoulder sections.
Thanks!
Michelle
Hi Shanda. I had a c-section on March 24th. I had a super easy recovery. I felt great within 2 weeks and was taking short walks by then. By my 4 week post-partum checkup my doctor gave me the go-ahead to resume all normal activities including exercising. I started back in at about the same...
Allison was delivered by c-section on March 24th. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and is 20 inches long. We are so thrilled - she is a little angel!! You can see her at

I'll be having my baby by c-section and was wondering if any of you who have had a c-section have advice on how to get up from a lying down position afterwards. I had a really hard time for the first several days with my last c-section and was wondering if there is an easier and less painful...
Hang in there! I was not only tired my first trimester but also naseaus. My fitness level dropped off during that time. I just did what my body would allow me to do without overdoing it. By the second trimester things were much better and I was able to increase my frequency of exercising. I...
Valerie - I know what you mean about the little things that come with being pregnant! The past few weeks my hands have been getting numb and tingly when I lay down and even when lifting my dumbbells on certain moves. Luckily these things go away!
Stebby - Thanks for the encouragement! I...
I am at 35 weeks (due April 3rd) and was wondering who else is closing in fast on their due date! I am feeling really good and am still exercising three or four times a week. I'm still doing Cathe tapes - both cardio and weights. I thought by now I'd have scaled back a lot, but I'm just...
Lisa,
That is so wonderful you are having a girl! I love the name Malina. We considered that name for one of our girls then ended up going with my great-grandma's name instead!
I'm with you on not telling anyone the names we are thinking of! Seems like you can't please everyone and I'd...
Hi everyone. I haven't been to this forum for a while either. I'm 32 weeks along with my third baby/second pregnancy (first pregnancy was twin girls). I am feeling really good and am able to exercise as much as I would like. I find that I really do better if I exercise in the morning...
Well we had our ultrasound! The doctor didn't tell us what sex the baby is and our untrained eyes didn't give anything away either! We did get a video tape of the whole thing. And we got the neatest picture in 4D of the baby's face.
I've also had friends that have had super obvious...
RE: Thanks!
Foolofatook,
You know I too was wondering if it would be obvious or not the sex of the baby when we go in for the ultrasound this week. I will tell the doctor when we go in that we don't want to know. My doctor has a brand new 4D ultrasound machine and I wonder if it will be more...
That is so exciting that you are having a girl! I am hoping for a girl myself. We have a sonogram in three weeks, but I doubt we will find out the sex - we like to wait until delivery day for some reason!!
