Katia, I made a mistake. There are 4 squares per pack. Each square is 2' X 2' - so with 3 packs, I made an area 8 x 6 feet. Lauren

Hi Katie, I recently bought the interlocking squares to use over my basement carpeting. Home Depot had black ones for $15 per 3 pack. At Sams they were about half of that price but are brightly colored. I found that I needed 3 packs and then I put my step over them. They really help my knees...
