    Hey Cathe Fans...

It's true that I don't readily notice music alot of the time, especially if it's there just to provide a background rhythm. It seems to me that alot of the music used in exercise videos is quite similar and very repetitive (you'll hear the same Dynamix track in several different vids in a CIA...

    Argh!!! Plyo Scissors!!!!

YIKES! They make my knees hurt...and my lungs...and my feet...and my ears...and eyebrows...and elbows...whew, I get outta breath just thinkin about 'em. I would say they are the main reason I let myself avoid IMAX, but that honor goes to the airborne jacks.

    Tape recommendations?

LAST EDITED ON Sep-01-02 AT 00:02AM (Est)[p]Has anyone tried Christi Taylor's Hi-Lo Heaven? I'm looking for a very hard non-step tape to use to give my body a break from step. Hi/Lo Heaven is one of my favorite workouts. It's Christi and four cute guys (Harold Sanco is one of the background...

    Suggestions? - Lower Bosy Split

Excellent! Thanks for including floor work! Intricate work that specifically targets glute, hip, quad, inner and outer thigh muscles is so challenging. I can already feel the burn (wow, am I dating myself or what?!?!) Just a quick personal aside (and I apologize in advance for this particular...

    Suggestions? - Boot Camp Circuit

Another great concept! I think it'll be a perfect get-over-what-happened-at-work tape...50-60 minutes sounds good to me. I'd like it to have a thorough warm-up so as to reduce any hesitation/avoidance factor--it sounds like one of those that "hurts so good."

    Suggestions ?- Imax 2

Sounds so good! I greatly appreciate step intervals as opposed to high impact floor work. I also prefer to do a variety of moves during each blast. I would love to see a couple of participants modify things a bit. I don't think you need to add a graph of any kind if you vary the moves. The...

    Suggestions? - Muscle Endurance

Yep, love the circuit idea. One caveat, however: I know I need 'em, but my form sometimes suffers badly (and sometimes my knees protest rather loudly) on 4 limbed exercises that involve lunges. I still like to do them but do them better at a slower speed. Just a suggestion...take it or leave...

    Suggestions? - Upper Body Split

LAST EDITED ON Aug-17-02 AT 08:05AM (Est)[p]sorry--double post.

    Suggestions? - Upper Body Split

A 60 minute full pyramid approach sounds great as does the oft-repeated 2-2 count, midrange speed of the reps. I'd be interested in hearing about the sequence of the exercises--supersets?--will we work each muscle group to fatigue, alternate opposing muscle groups, or rotate, vary, and repeat...

    Suggestions? - Cardio and Weights

Thanks for your energy and your creativity! This sounds like a great concept. I would prefer all step segments interspersed with upper body weight work. My legs certainly need additional training, but with Leaner Legs, Strong Legs & Abs, Power Circuit, and the new Lower Body Split, I don't think...

    CTX Upper Body Compilation?

I thought I read somewhere that this tape is in the works. Am I dreaming? Actually, since I've been faithfully doing the trusty tank top rotation for the last several weeks, it would be a dream come true... If it's going to happen, any word on release date? Inquiring minds want to know...thanks.

    Mindy Mylrea Fans???

I think Mindy is a real hoot. She's funny, but my laughing is usually muffled by sweat. Her workouts are different--they have a real sports orientation and seem very playful--she uses balls and bars and agility drills...and things don't have to be exactly perfect in her cardio workouts, which is...

    What Are Your Quirks?

Here's a weird one for you (and an exasperating one for my dear companion): FORGET LETTERMAN AND LENO! I fall asleep practically every night while watching an exercise video. In fact, I usually can't fall asleep without watching one. Usually it's a newly acquired tape I want to preview, or an...

    Thank you all so much!

What a beautiful baby! Congratulations on a healthy start to a happy new life! I have a question, however...is it heredity or environment??? Kyle looks like he's already doing shoulder presses! Hmmmm...look out, Arnold! Cathe, take care of yourself and your little ones. I look forward to...
