    Pilates? Add to routine?

    I think Pilates is wonderful! However, I didn't care for Mari Winsor's instruction. She goes much too quickly, and Pilates is a process which can't be rushed. I LOVE Hillary Burnet; her visualizations are wonderful. Stott and Mari Winsor would be next in my choices. Learn the basics whatever you do.

    Has anyone had success with this? I don't think I'll do the workout portion, and I couldn't give up cardio, but the eating plan is interesting. I'm curious if anyone has any advice. I'm a carbohydrate junkie, and I know that's not good.

    I like Moria Stott. I have her intermediate and advanced tapes. The advanced is advanced, but the intermediate is good. I'll bet the beginner tape is just as well done.     Anyone know the formula for figuring heart rate. Not the formula based on 220- age, but this formula started with a k, I think. It involved finding your resting heart rate and your working heart rate. I've got my figured, but I've lost the formula.

    I've been taking it since mid-June. My understanding was that CLA was for toning, so you might not lose any weight. You'd just replace fat w/ muscle, which is what I need to do. I think I remember reading that one might actually gain weight when replacing the fat w/ the muscle...I can't remember...
