    omegas 3's

Another Nature's Path cereal that contains flax seeds is Optimum Power Breakfast. I like the taste a lot, but the flax seeds (and blueberries) tend to migrate to the bottom of the bag and all end up in your last bowlful. You have to get creative when pouring it to counter that.

Hi Cathe! I'd like to know the basic elements and time breakdowns on the 5 timesaver workouts. Something on the lines of -- Workout 1: warm up; 20 min step cardio; biceps, triceps, abs; total workout time 40 minutes Workout 2: ..... Or whatever info you have on them. I'm still...

Aaaagghhh.... still on the fence about Timesaver

I was wondering if, now that you've finished filming everything, you could post a few more details about the duration and contents of the Timesaver routines (before the presale ends). Thanks so much for all the great workouts!!

    Body Blast price after presale?

Um, er... I just noticed that the $199.99 regular price for the complete set is more than the sum of the individual regular prices for the same DVDs. (49.99 + 44.99 + 44.99 + 44.99 = 184.96) :o An oopsie?

    SNM - Any Updates?

    >There wont be any updates until after we're finished >filming. Whatever happened to (from the preorder page): "As always, we will keep you updated regularly on our website." ???:o

    Low Carbers - NEED HELP!!!

I really like the eating plan in this book, and it fits well with your needs as you've described. I think the Amazon reviews are pretty good, so I won't rehash them here. As a Catheite, though, you will have to ignore the chapter on exercise (aimed mostly at non-exercisers).:+...

    Low Carb Diets

I remember from physiology classes that glucose is the only fuel that red blood cells and neurons (nervous system) can use. (They don't have mitochondria, where the Krebs cycle and cellular respiration take place). I believe this is why Atkins doesn't recommend eliminating carbs from the diet...

Which burns more calories weight training or cardio?

You're right about the hormones, but I'm talking about hunger the 1-2 days (12-48 hours) after the workout. Just wanted to clarify. Bev

Which burns more calories weight training or cardio?

Just wanted to point out one thing that often gets overlooked in calorie burning discussions. Common knowledge around here: when you do heavy weight training, to the point of near total muscle fatigue, you do micro damage to the muscles, and over the next two days or so, your body repairs this...

    Peanut Butter

I just want to point out that not all natural peanut butters are created equal. Just like with any other product, you might find one brand or type tastes yucky to you but others are deelish. Personally, I don't like salt-free PB at all, and like even less the ultimate natural pb, raw...

    Video suggestions

The New Calorie Chart is in!!! Please check this out

The article above states: "For example, a 30-year-old woman who is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 111 to 150 pounds should consume between 1,800 and 2,000 calories daily if she lives a sedentary lifestyle. However, if she is a very active person, her recommended total caloric intake increases...

Lean Cuisines and the like =

I live in No. California, and can find these at Safeway, Raley's, and Albertson's (not that I've looked everywhere). They're usually in a separate "health food" area though. Sometimes in a separate area of the main freezer, sometimes in a small freezer in the health food isle. Gotta look...

Lean Cuisines and the like =

I second the recommendation for Amy's frozen foods. Yummy burritos, lasagna, enchiladas, etc.. There are other good choices in the frozen natural foods section as well, like Cascadian Farms and Seeds of Change (several of their varieties include soybeans for a higher protein level than most)...
