How I found out about Cathe Workouts
I was gifted the Basic Step DVD, the step, and a stability ball for Christmas many years ago! Cathe and her crew have been a part of my workouts on and off for about 9 years.

My Fitness Goals
I want to make my body strong and healthy and happy. My body is an amazing tool, and I want to give it all I can. This means lots of cardio and lots of strength training! My goals are to lose ten more pounds and to develop muscle all over my body (nothing specific -- just get started and have fun with it!!). I'm also committing to healthy, purposeful eating by better utilizing meal plans and preparing/freezing meals in advance.
My Success Story
In February 2013 I hit my highest weight of approximately 145 pounds (BMI 28.3). I stopped weighing myself at 143 and decided to get serious about my health shortly after. By May (college graduation), I was 126. It was a natural transition for me as I left dining halls behind and acquired disposable income to do a complete makeover on the quality of food I was eating as well as devote more time to being active. I lost another 10 pounds and by mid-2014 at 117 I plateaued as I realized I was comfortable with my body. It is no longer an enemy, a project, an embarrassment. It's my body, and like all beings it is deserving of love and respect.
That is winning.
I am a success story, not because of any number on a scale or a treadmill or a barbell, but because I'm finally happy with my body and myself.
