Features of the Cathe Theme:

Windows '98 users have instant access to Cathe.com via the desktop by clicking on the Cathe logo.

To install the Cathe Theme follow these easy steps:

1.) MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! PRINT THIS PAGE OUT SO THAT YOU HAVE THE DIRECTIONS AT HAND.

2.) Now you may CLICK HERE to start the download.

You will see a window like the one below:

Make sure that "Save this program to disk" is checked and click OK.

Then you should get a window like the one below:

Save it to a temp folder. If you do not understand click here to email us: gocathe@covad.net

Click the save button on the bottom right.

It will start downloading. Approximate downloading time is 45 minutes on a 28.8kbps modem and approximately 22 minutes on a 56kbps modem.

3.) Close the Internet Explorer window when it is finished downloading by clicking the "X" in the far upper right hand corner. (All the way in the upper right, not the one in this window is the one you want to click.)

4.) Double-click on the icon that says "My Computer" in the upper left-hand corner after the file is downloaded, and then double-click on the icon for the C Drive, and then double-click on the folder that says Temp and double click "Theme.exe" that will open a window which looks as follows:

5.) It will open a window that says extract to "c:\temp". Click "unzip" and go to and double click on "My Computer" then double click on "C Drive" and go to and double click on the "Temp" folder once again.

6.) Double Click on "Install.bat". When the Title Bar says "Finished" click the "X" in the Upper Right hand corner to close this window.

7.) If you have Microsoft PLUS! and run Windows 98, start in the lower left hand corner and go to "Start", then "Settings", then "Control Panel", then double click on "Desktop Themes" and click on the selection box (long rectangular box with arrow) that says [current settings] and choose Cathe for Windows 98 with PLUS! on the drop down menu. Then click ok. Then you're DONE!!!

If you do not have PLUS! read on.

8.) For those of you who do not have PLUS!, a program called themes.exe has been copied to your computer to be able to install themes on your computer. To run it, just go to and click the "Start" button, then the "run" button, then type "c:\windows\themes\themes". It will open a window that asks where your themes are located. Continue by clicking "ok". Then click on the selection box (long rectangular box with arrow) that says [current settings] and choose Cathe for Windows 95 or 98 without PLUS!. Then choose "OK". Then you're DONE!!! Then we recommend restarting your computer although it is not necessary.

9.) If you wish to uninstall the theme, just go to "Desktop Themes" for those of you who have PLUS! or follow the same steps as above to open "themes" and choose Original Settings.
