I'm 36 years old and happily married
with no children. I'm a certified personal trainer and fitness
instructor. Before making fitness my full time career, I worked for 14
years as an underwriter for an insurance company.
My evenings are spent training
clients and by day I teach a total of three weekly kickbox classes. I
enjoy my classes but also supplement my own workouts with them. This
includes four days of either spinning or running for 30 minutes per
session. I also lift 4 times per week and change my workouts every two
weeks. I like a lot of variety and do all types of lifting (ie: endurance
based, strength based, etc.). My favorite body part to lift is
shoulders. I generally try to stay fit year round by eating healthy and
exercising regularly. But I admit that sweets are my weakness and when
the cravings are at an all time high, I am such a cookie monster.

To get in shape for the videos, I
kept my workout routine the same except I increased my spinning sessions
to 45 minutes. After rehearsals started, I cut back on my personal
fitness routine as to not over train. As far as my diet is concerned, I
increased my protein intake and cut down on sugar and carbs. I still left
fruits and veggies in my diet, I just had to give up the "cookie monster"
title. Seriously, I really did try to eliminate all junk food from my
diet except, of course, for that one piece of cheesecake that Jai
brought to rehearsals from the restaurant.
