Brenda Frambes



I am 36 years old, single with no kids, instead I have a boyfriend of 14 years, two small dogs and two cats.  I work as a computer hardware and software support person for a company in Runnemede NJ.  I have been seriously into fitness for about 12 years; I started with home exercise videos and then working out at area health clubs.  I am also a certified Spin instructor although I do not currently teach.

This time I decided that I needed to really work on my eating habits. I started by cutting down slightly on the size of my portions and making sure my meals are clean, lean meats, lots of vegetables, and fruit.  I tried to come away from each meal, comfortably full, not stuffed!  I still cheat way more than I should but I tried to make sure the cheating wasn't out of control.   I really didn't change too much with my workouts.  I do heavy weight training, one or two body parts per day, four days a week and try, when I have time, to add a total body muscle endurance workout, either Power Hour or a Body Pump class.  My cardio is either, spinning, running or stepping, usually 5 days a week.  I rotate classes at the gym and videos at home; it just depends on my schedule.  In preparation for IMAX2 I did make sure that two cardio workouts each week were especially tough, either Interval Max, running intervals on the treadmill, or a really tough spin class.
